Ready Set Grow Daycare

Well to start with, it is the only daycare center I trust with my children. We lived in elpaso in 2005 and my children were both enrolled in Preschool and the pre-k programs at Ready Set Grow. When ended up moving that summer. Well fortunately we were able to move back home 2 months ago. And of course my children could not wait to go back to Ready Set Grow. I went back to work right away and placed my children back in their care for their summer program...I can't believe it but this daycare just gets better and better. I was highly impressed years ago when my child were there and I am even more impressed now. Their programs just keep improving even when you think there is no room for improvement. The director is WONDERFUL, asst. director is WONDERFUL, staff is WONDERFUL, the environment beautiful, clean and lots of activities and toys for the children. The summer camp curriculum is just amazing, the things they do with the children and for the children. The way they make the children and the support they give to us parents is just fantastic. They really make you feel like family.

Pros: the way they treat the children and the parents, clean, happy children, great staff

Ready Set Grow Daycare is a wonderful place. This daycare provides a wonderful learning environment for all of it's children enrolled. I was impressed from the minute I walked in and was greeted by Ms. Linda. The place is bright, clean and has lots of toys. I took a tour and saw many wonderful things, teachers interacting with the children, reading to them, dancing to music. I was just absolutely pleased. I visited many times before I actually selected this daycare for my three beautiful children. I was always pleased with what I saw. My children have been at Ready Set Grow Daycare for 2 full months now and I know I made an excellent choice for my babies. They are 9 months, 2 years and 7 years old. They are very happy there. They don't even want to come home at night. Breaks my heart but I know this means they are being taken care of properly during the day. They have formed bonds with the staff and just really love it at Ready Set Grow.

Pros: clean, activities, happy children, daily adventures

Cons: waiting list for my friends children...boo hoo.

the daycare is a very nice place for my children. They really enjoy going and run in the door when we arrive. I love this daycare and hope it will be around for a very long time. I know Ms. Betty expects a lot and I am so glad to see that. Many centers I visited showed staff not interacting and just sitting around talking while the children were not engaged in any type of activity at all. Congrats to Ready Set Grow on a job well done and for once again receiving the all achievement in childcare.

Pros: clean bright and provides a fun and loving environment daily

Cons: only on one side of town.

I believe the person that wrote the last review was probably an irrate worker who probably was let go. My children have been in Ready Set Grow Daycare for the last 6 years. II used to work there myself and NEVER saw what she is describing. I am really disturbed that someone would write this an force children to go to centers that aren't anywhere close to carrying for children like Ready Set Grow does. The director is awsome, simply awesome. I have NEVER worked for a director who gets her hands dirty and cares for the children giving the teachers and children materials. My children still go there even though I no longer work there and I would NEVER take my children anywhere else. I have walked in on many occassions and never seen what that person is describing. It's a fantastic place and my children love it. SHAME on whom ever wrote this message...you couldn't be more wrong.

Pros: ratios are low, great staff and picky director

Cons: staff who get fired and write horrible reviews on a great center

Yes, this place is clean, colorful, and happy appearing when you first walk in, but there are things that many parents don't see or notice. The director is psychotic and completely full of herself. She yells and screams at the workers in front of the children. The playground area in the back has the most disgusting sandbox contaminated with huge spiders and old broken toys. There are a lot of toys, especially too many things for the kids to climb on top of and get hurt. The director is very concerned with pay, so she will use any opportunity to increase the student-teacher ratio. Most of the time, teachers are in there with way too many kids to handle and supervise at once. When kids act up, there is no structured way of handling it. You're kid will likely be under the supervision of 3 different highly untrained, underpaid staff members in one day.

Pros: Clean indoors and clean toys, field trips, activities, curriclum

Cons: Child management, dirty playground, staff acts different when no parents are around to see.

Its a really nice daycare. I have felt very comfortable having my children in Ready Set Grow for over 2 years. My children love it there and my husband, me and my parents, the children's grandparents are very happy with the kindness that they have shown our children and other children everyday.

I read these reviews when looking for a daycare for my children. I can say that I called first...they were very informative on the phone and friendly. I was invited in to see the place. I did not need to set up a time to come in. I was told to come visit during anytime during business hours. I was pleased with that. I did go visit them and other centers. My kids did NOT want to leave ready set grow daycare and learning center. We did end up enrolling. We were very happy with what we saw. Our children are happy when we go to pick them up and I can see a big difference in the learning environment that goes on there. I am very pleased and would like to thank everyone who wrote a review on this daycare. It's hidden and I might not have even known it was around had I not read the reviews first...thanks for taking the time...It's a great place!!

Pros: very kid friendly, lots of toys, puzzles, colorful, CLEAN, smells nice, curriculum

Cons: not open past 6pm (but we've made due because we love the place)

really good place for children. always happy children happy staff laughing and seem to enjoy being with children and around each other. VERY VERY clean and always smells nice not like other daycares with stinky diapers and crying children, staff that hate each other. This is really a fantastic environment for children. I know my children love it and my wife and I are VERY VERY pleased with the staff, the curriculum and the management. great place...we love it and stopped looking the minute we went in and visited. We have been very happy with our daycare choice. A very picky dad and even picker mom (shouldn't we all be like this, these are our kids people)

Pros: a lot of parental involvement and communication from staff. :) Parents are always welcome!!

loving learning environment with a lot of staff who really enjoy there jobs. It shows!! Director cares and is involved in every thing on a daily basis. Director is informative and has a lot of knowledge of the daycare industry and raising happy children. It's not just a daycare it's a home away from home for my children and my entire family really. I had my children in lots of other daycares and never was very pleased. Until now, I am pleased with this daycare and my children enjoy and look forward to going to daycare everyday. They are singing new songs and when I pick them up they can't wait to tell me about their day. Boy what a difference this daycare has made in my life. Thanks for all the hard work and caring that goes into this daycare...................staff and director.......Ms. betty

This is a good daycare center. Iam very happy and believe me I am very picky when it comes to my family. The staff is all very nice to deal with and good to the kids who go there. It is a clean place and has lots of toys and art work hanging on the walls. My daughter cant wait to get in the door in the morning when I drop her off. She sometimes even hurts my feelings but, I guess that should make me happy that she is comfortable there. It does, I know she loves it there and i am thankful for all that they do at ready set grow daycare and learning center. Keep up the good work ladies.
