Impressed by hotel

hotel was very convenient to all the sites in EL Paso, however check in and out was very confusing. Front desk , stated that many of the hotels reservations were not coming through. Tried to double charge us! Breakfast buffet vouchers were hard to get, as we had to wait in check out line, every morning , to get vouchers. LONg lines! overall was impressed by hotel.

The hotel bar is grand

Great hotel located downtown El Paso. Walking distance to many local bars of every type ;). The parking garage below the building is very secure and well lit with security cameras. The hotel bar is grand with the amazing dome.

Beauty and comfort

Classic Perfection

This is a classic beauty and comfortable to no end. Downtown close to everything, very nice ammenties and great service, definitley stay there again!!

Second time staying

This is the second time I have stayed at this lovely old hotel. Staff was very helpful. Coffee shop has tasty food with attentive waiters. Room was adequate with comfortable beds. After having difficulty with the room temp. the desk quickly sent someone to explain the controls. Located within easy walk of several museums and music venues. Hotel celebrates 100 years in 2012 and would loved to have a booklet explaining some of its history.

Got some great deals

We had to change rooms 4 times due to noise issues: first nite was a convention, second nite street party,but the front desk people were great each time. Yes it is an old hotel but still nice as it was within a block of the start and finish of the marathon--also great to have the free airport shuttle. ALso next to the golden horseshoe shopping at the markets -got some great deals there as well

They had a great breakfast buffet

My Husband and 23 year old son stayed here for the Sun Bowl Game. They said the room was very large, comfortable, and clean. They had a great breakfast buffet at the restaurant. It was in a convenient location, and they walked everywhere they needed to go. Juan at the front desk was very helpful, and the entire staff was friendly. They would not hesitate to stay here again.
