My new go-to for great Mexican Food!. Upon entering the doors of this unassuming Dyer Street establishment, all trepidation melted away as my eyes drank in the hip,funky decor and utter cleanliness of Burritos Juarez. The name itself made me yearn for the days when skipping across the border into J-town for a delicious authentic Mexican meal was a viable option, rather than a suicide mission... but I digress. My lunch date and I quickly made our way to the counter and placed our order. Seemingly seconds later, I was happily nomming away on a chile relleno roasted to perfection and tucked neatly into the most delectable flour tortilla, which I was thrilled to find was made fresh on-site! By the time I had finished, my friend had already inhaled a barbacoa burrito, which he assured me was spot-on. I did, however, get to sample his torta which was filled with succulent melt-in-your-mouth pork that made me wish I had gone with one of my gals so I could make a pig of myself without judgement. All this deliciousness cost less than the hideous peachy-coral lip gloss the pushy Sephora girl guilt tripped me into buying last week. summation: fantastic fare, unbeatable prices, and super fast service without ever seeming like fast food. This place is definitely going to be in heavy rotation!
