The Produce is the best, and I have found at the best prices. There are specials thoughout the store that make it worth shopping there. The meat, what to say? The steaks are PAPER thin! All you need to do is heat them up and it is like eating shoe leather. Steak should be 1/2 inch or more thick but that is their roast!! When I complained they said they receive it that way and all they do is wrap it. :-(

On the few Big 8 stores I've been in El Paso I would like to contact their corporate office to give them a couple of tips for their stores. One would be that it would be pretty neat if they had a deli right next to the meat department. You know sort of like a restaurant built in a grocery store. There is one establishment that is built like that and happens to be one of my current clients. The second tip I would have to discuss with the executives of the Lowe's Big 8 Stores. The store is good in space when it comes to customer traffic. The prices on certain items seems fair and decent.
