El Paso >
Sinbad
Delicious!.
I visit Sinbad's quite frequently for the rice alone. It's yellow, buttery and oh so good.
I also recommend the chicken curry, shish tawouk, gyro sandwich and the combination plate with kafta, gyro meat and shish tawouk. The salads are pretty tasty as well.
The hummus is the best I've had but very garlicky, and the baba ganoush is delicious.
Ok, so sometimes the service isn't so great and parking can be hard to find, but the food is worth it!
gross.
I don't recommend this place, unfortunately. I love Mediterranean food, and there are few places in El Paso that serve it, so we thought we would try it. When we got there, for lunch on a Saturday, there were no customers. We should have taken that as a sign.
The tables were dirty and the napkin holders had fingerprints all over them. The food was worse than mediocre. The hummus was clearly of the canned variety. And...there was no toilet paper in the restroom.
