A & L Boarding Kennel

Horrible Experience. Horrible experience. We kenneled our two dogs there for 4 days over Thanksgiving break. When we picked them back up they reeked of urine, as did their beds that I had also brought along. We're pretty sure they were made to lay in their own filth during their stay. Our girl dog also came back with a broken tail, as if it were smashed in the gate at some point. She was very depressed for several days after we picked her back up. Horrible customer service, very rude. We were made to feel as if we were an inconvenience, not paying customers. It was pretty cheap, but we got what we paid for. We will never be taking them back again.…

don't go this place, if you care about your pet!!!. I picked this place because it opened on sunday and cheap. So I dropped my dog here for a week on Oct. 2011. After a week later i went back to pick up my dog, i saw her eye was so red and huge. I asked the old lady when my dog had that problem.. she didn't know anything. My dog's eye was soooooooo bad. She couldn't open her eye.. and kept scratching.. she didn't have any health problem before (we put her other kennels other states) We spent hundreds for her.

I'm still angry about this place and the old lady. So i made I.D here and post this story.

I can't play with my luck in this kennel... if your pet wasn't sick after staying here... you're soooooooooooooooooooooo lucky! that's what i think!

Please if you care about your pet and money, think this place again and again!…

Pet Neglect and Kennel Maintenance. I have taken my Maltese to A&L Boarding Kennels and as you and I know that Maltese dogs are small and they kept my dog for a couple of days, as you and I know that Maltese's are indoor pets, well I am very particular about my Maltese as to fleas and ticks, well to make a long story short when I went to pickup my Maltese from A & L everything looked fine until I got home and my Maltese was loaded with fairly large ticks!!! The ones that you would find on full size dogs!!! Since then I have not taken my Maltese back to A & L and my suggestion should you ever decide to consider taking your pet to this place please by all means think twice!!! The business office is not clean and smells. The outer grounds of the facility from what I saw were large and the surroundings within the area were not secured, also the kennels are not protected from external environments. The employees were not professional and did not present themselves accordingly and in a pleasant manor.…

Employee at A & L Boarding Kennel. I have worked at A & L boarding kennel I can honestly say that we do are very best to take care of the animals like if they were are own. The runs are cleaned on a daily bases. The blankets are washed daily. If a Dog comes in with it's own bed with do everything we can to keep it clean. Unforturily not all dogs are clean, we do everything humanily possible to keep it clean. As for not taking in pitbulls I was one of the employees that got bit by one. The owner swore to me that his pit was a sweetheart and it wouldn't hurt a fly. I explained to him that when we clean we use a broom and squeege he said it would be fine. The follwing morning I had my bucket boom and walked in to the run and got attacked.…
