Best NY Strip in town. Everyone in El Paso raves about Cattlemen's Restaurant in Fabens. It's good, but Cattle Baron is almost as good and much closer. I think their NY Strip is the best around. Huge baked potato and great fresh bread. They also have the best bartender in town.

go else where for a steak. I heard they have an awesome salad bar but I didn't feel like tracking to the bas, so I got the ceasar salad drowned in fishy dressing...couldn't eat it. The steak was mediocre, at best. I asked for medium & got medium-well with NO seasoning...had to put salt/pepper on it. awful.

Moooove over. This place is one of the better steak houses in El Paso. Something about Texas beef taste juicy. I also thought the service was really good. It's dark and romantic. I did think the salad was weak, but who comes for salad? This is damn steak house foo. Go eat your veggies somewhere else.

Great Salad Bar. This place has great steaks, and superb salad bar. All the fixings and you can go back as many times as you like. When I went last, I had ordered the fish (can't remember the kind) with garlic sauce...boy they weren't fooling around with that stuff. There must have been at least 3 whole cloves on my fish. I just couldn't bare to finish it.
