Known for its breakfasts, this diner chain slings all-American grub and bottomless cups of coffee..
In Short
With its kid-friendly vibe, booth seating and late-night hours (most stores are open 24 hours), Denny's draws night owls, seniors and families with kids. The menu sticks to classic American staples: wings, chicken strips, burgers, salads and the like. But breakfast is king, with specialties ranging from skillets, egg scrambles, French toast platters and several variations on the famous Grand Slam: two buttermilk pancakes, two eggs, two bacon strips and two sausage links.

50s diner.
The food is the familiar all-American favorites, but the set-up is far from the bland decor this chain is famous for. Like a 50s malt shop with chrome details and colorful booths in bubblegum and baby blue. For some reason, the decor definitely has an effect on the shakes. Soooo yummy.
