My all time favorite

I can't even believe this place is still open. I lived in El Paso in the early 80's. Every time my parents asked me where I wanted it eat, it was Forti's, without question.

My favorite was the cheese enchiladas. They were to die for.

If you ever start shipping dinners to Chicago, PLEASE let me know.

I highly recommend this resterant.

Avoid at all cost, and save your money!!!!!!!

The worst place to eat in El Paso, if you want over priced "Mexican food" that is no where near close to being any good and having your order giving to you wrong this is your place. I lived in El Paso for over 30 years and my advise towards this place is to don't just walk away, RUNAWAY!!! The cashier couldn't even run a credit card correctly, charging me someone's bill and then had to wait to get a refund. Just a poor restaurant all round.

The salsa is awesome

Forti's is one of the best mexican restaurants i've ever been to. The tamale on my combo plate was excellent & the salsa that comes with the chips is incredible. Very delicious food! You need to eat here.

• Pros: Great salsa, awesome food, great service.
• Cons: can't think of any...we had a great time & a great meal.
