Now I know why I was the only customer!. I have always gone to McDonald's for breakfast, but the line was really long, so I went to the empty Burger King right next to it. I was wondering why it was so empty, I thought the food can't be that bad, maybe people just don't know about it yet. I even decided to go inside and eat to get the whole experience. I asked for a pancake only and a side of egg. The manager on duty overcharged me .20 cents, but I let that one go. The eggs were cold and dry. I saw the manager was sitting down with her breakfast and she was irritated when she had to get up again. I kindly asked for fresh eggs, she said it would take 20 min for fresh eggs...really? So how long had my eggs been there for? How do people like this get into a management position? I asked for my order to go and left quietly infuriated. Now I know why I was the only customer.
HOT. I hadn't been here for a while because of slow service. I gave it anothe try and I was pleasantly surprised. They did't ruin my order, the fries were steaming hot, and so were the burgers.
Flame-broiled burgers--especially the trademarked Whopper--are royalty at this popular fast-food chain..
In Short
Founded in 1954, this ultracasual eatery (often with a drive-through) made its name with hamburgers cooked over flames and finished with the customer's choice of toppings. The signature sandwich has always been the Whopper, a quarter-pound burger with tomatoes, lettuce, mayo, ketchup, pickles and onions. The menu also features fish fillets and spicy chicken sandwiches, garden salads with fire-grilled shrimp and chicken, the breakfast "Croissan'wich," crispy onion rings and even veggie burgers.
