Since 1951, this quick-serve restaurant has catered to on-the-go motorists, pioneering drive-thru dining and a broad selection of distinctive fast-food items. The menu emphasizes burgers like the best-selling Jumbo Jack--a thick patty topped with lettuce, tomato, ketchup and mayo-onion sauce--but value items like stuffed jalapenos, bacon-cheddar potato wedges, and "monster" tacos are popular, too. Breakfast and sourdough sandwiches, salads and real ice cream shakes round out the offerings.

Skip it, Jack. I've never been to a Jack in The Box, so decided to stop here; about 1:30 pm. The service is the worst of any fast food place. The help put orders in bags and took them out, and put them in, and were totally lost. One lady next to us waited 20 minutes for a single bag of french fries. At that point, we knew we would have to pass on this experience, and try a Jack in the Box elsewhere.

This is not FAST food.
