Excellent Service, Excellent Food
by Russel
My Name is Russel, I'm from El Paso, Texas.
I love to spend my time at The Mesa Street Bar & Grill.
You can always taste fresh ingredients in everything you order. A week ago I went with my wife and another couple and we had a great time, with a huge list of wines and EXCELLENT food.
Waiters are always there and always friendly.
For the kind and quality of food they serve, it's not expensive at all!!!
And if you are like me, a smoker, there's a patio where you can eat and just after the food, a good cigarrette or cigar (which you can buy there too).
Just an amazing experience!!!
- Pros: Huge Wine List
- Cons: Non
Not very good food at all
by lily83
Reservations are not required at this restaurant, contrary to what some may think. The service was very good, extremely attentive. The setting is beautiful, especially if you dine outside. The wine list is brilliant.
But, lets face it, the food stinks. The wine list has to be good to make you forget about the bland dishes you are eating. NO flavor. You can really taste the frozenness in the vegetables. Depending on what you order, the portions may be a little too generous, or not enough. My husband had the steak, which was shriveled and overdone, served with a jalapeno wrapped in bacon on the side(which is a little nasty if you think about it). I had the Chicken Cordon Bleu, which was a HUGE portion. I didn't want to finish, because it was so bad- but even if the food had been good I couldn't have eaten that much.
I didn't want to eat dessert, the food made me that sick. The ambience of this restaurant is amazing, but it is a lackluster imitation of sophisticated dining. I have eaten burritos more sophisticated than this bland fare. No thank you, Mesa Street Grill.
- Pros: Parking, Excellent Service, Wine
- Cons: The Food!
My only and favorite restaurant in el paso, tx
by brujasilvestre
this is the only restaurant where I feel I getting the most out of what I pay for, good quality, good food, good taste, a little pricy fresh ingredients, my favorite a good dine experience, which is not easy to find in el paso.
- Pros: good food
- Cons: maybe pricy if you order everything like i do but is worth expending good money
