Quality Hotel. I recently stayed at the Camino Real in El Paso for the weekend. If you are into the nightlife the union plaza is amazing and the camino real is conveniently located just a few blocks away. The shuttle drivers were very friendly and always more than willing to help us out with rides to nice restaraunts. The hotel is very nice and is worth the money.

Exceeded expectations and was even GRAND. From the beginning with a call for a ride from the airport to check out, our stay here was excellent. Service was great, rooms were great and for an older hotel, it far exceeded expectations and was even GRAND. Shuttle was on time to airport, coming and going. Since there was a wedding there that night they put us up on an upper floor in case it was noisy which it wasn't. It you want more than the run of the mill hotels, this is the place.

Classy at a decent price. If you're looking for something pretty classy for a decent price, this place is it. Loads of crown molding. There were a few annoyances, but they were very minor. One interesting thing is that we stayed on the 13th floor. The view of downtown El Paso is amazing. There was an outlet that didn't work, but it was the only outlet that was accessible. A drippy faucet. No microwave or refrigerator in the queen suite. The biggest annoyance was housekeeping. They failed at keeping the condiments stocked for the coffee maker and once we had to call them back because they simply forgot to clean our room. All in all in was a good stay. Very beautiful.

todo esta muy bueno. todo esta muy bueno el servicio tambien esta fabuloso solo una sola cosa esta fuera de tiempo la television esta pasada de moda, deverian cambiarlas por flat tv. eso esto y se me olvidava el desayuno estubo riquisimo ....

Weekend rates are amazingly low. This is a beautiful old hotel although it appears to falling into a little disrepair. The staff is cordial and friendly if young and not particularly refined. Weekend rates are amazingly low, the Beef Tenderloin at the bar was the best $18 dollar steak I've had in years. Downtown El Paso is a ghost town on the weekends, and I mean that in a good way. I'm considering this my secret weekend getaway as it is only a little over three hours from where I live and my wife loves it.

The service was great. with all of the bad reviews, we were very concerned this would be a bad experience. The night we stayed, the hotel was packed, if not full. The service was great except for a young waitress who liked to talk about herself more than serve her guests. The food was ok. Nothing exceptional. overall, we were warm and no major issues..and that was success.

Excellent customer service. Made my reservations on Monday for a Deluxe kind bed with buffet, to arrive on Friday. Upon my arrival on Friday night (8pm) I was informed, although I had reservations for a deluxe king room, they did not have it ready and would give me a deluxe queen room instead. I was not happy with that and asked the hotel receptionist, what was the purpose of making reservations if you were not going to be accomaodated with the reservations you made. The young lady at the desk graciously upgraded our room to a suite at no charge. Our whole stay there was filled with nothing but helpful people. I would recommend this hotel, just for the excellent customer service.

Good price/value ratio. Good price/value ratio For convenience, we stayed here while attending a seminar. Our room was quite nice, although we spent little time in it. In-hotel restaurant selections were limited and on-street restaurant selections were minimal as many were not open on weekends.
